The Day I Climbed Over A Mountain

I went on a hike, the other day, to a place called Diablo Lake. It's a beautiful slice of Gods creation here in the Pacific Northwest. In fact, it is nestled in one of the most beautiful pieces of landscape in the U.S. called the American Alps aka the Northern Cascades. I had started eating differently and became more active. Running was now in my vocabulary. Running was something I scoffed at and purposefully researched the hazards of, just so I could have good reason to not do it. Now, here I am preparing to train for a half marathon next year.
